For the very first time, your favourite songs and characters from the BAFTA Award-winning CBBC TV series HORRIBLE HISTORIES will be appearing live (and dead) on stage!

Horrible Histories - The Concert

When William Shakespeare is asked to create the greatest show on earth, he’s no idea how much trouble he’ll get from monstrous monarchs like Henry VIII, Queen Victoria and Boudica! Then things hot up when Death appears! Can it get any worse? Of course it can - Loo Man’s in the building!

Featuring a live band, with the sensational TV songs including Charles II, Dick Turpin and the Vikings, this is one show you won’t want to miss! Bring your singing voices for a truly horrible show!

Originally The New Theatre, it opened on Boxing Day, 1912. It went through several iterations, being renamed once before becoming the Opera House in 1920. It's also been used for different functions; as a cinema in WW2, then a bingo hall before reopening as a theatre again in 1984. Since, it has hosted magnificent shows like Barnum and Phantom of the Opera.
