Meeting twice a month, this choir aims to grow a local group of theatre and music enthusiasts who want to have fun, learn some singing skills and enjoy the friendly environment of creativity and connection.
This community choir is a lot of fun. It is relaxed, but I am also learning a lot at the same time. Joe, our musical director, has loads of enthusiasm, is totally non judgmental, and is very encouraging. I am so glad that I’ve found this choir.- Caroline S, Choir Member
Enjoyable singing songs from musicals with which one is familiar, but also challenging to sing the correct tune, rhythm and convey feeling. However Joe makes it fun, whilst encouraging the choir to 'get it right'.- Ruth, Choir Member
Joe is an excellent vocal coach, teaching us how to relax our bodies, not to strain our voices yet reach high notes, and where and how to breathe to convey the song's meaning and emotion. Also good to have a choir that meets during the day.- Ruth, Choir Member

Bristol Hippodrome
The Bristol Hippodrome, the city’s very own West End theatre, opened its doors on 16 December 1912 when the curtain rose for the first time on what was generally agreed to be Oswald Stoll’s most magnificent provincial theatre.
It is a superb example of the grand architecture of the late Victorian era and is one of the masterpieces of design by Frank Matcham, the most eminent theatre architect of his time.
Towards the beginning of the century, the theatre staged a variety of acts as a Music Hall. Since then, and due to the fact that it has one of the largest theatre stages in Britain, The Bristol Hippodrome has established itself on the touring circuit for all major musical productions, thus becoming known as Bristol’s West End Theatre.
